Examines the periodontal-cardiovascular association and the biological pathways through which oral inflammatory burden may influence vascular health.
Periodontal Disease and Cardiovascular Risk — Part 2
Focuses on clinical interpretation, blood-pressure opportunity, screening and referral, and the difference between improving intermediate markers and proving prevention of cardiovascular events.

Examines the bidirectional relationship between periodontal disease and diabetes and why this association has some of the strongest causal evidence in oral-systemic medicine.
Treating the Loop
